Hello I was wondering do certain breeds of Chickens produce double yolk eggs or is it just a lucky"golden egg"Is the chicken usually older or younger when this happens? thanks
Some hens do lay consistant double yolks but it is rare. Most double yolk producers are young pullets who are just starting up the plumbing for laying.
