Dreamed my chickens laid eggs

Woot! We've been getting 7-8 outta 8 everyday too. I'm lovin' it. e

Wow that's awesome! We've been getting between 5 and 7. The past 2-3 days it's only been 5 idk why the others have stopped but I did find 2 broken eggs in the coop that looked a bit older so maybe I just missed them/she did lay and they broke. They looked like an EE. Hers are either HUGE, off the scale often double yolkers, or broken LOL

Lol!! I am always sad when I find a broken one. Always seems like such a waste. But wow, double yolkers? Those are always a bonus and make up for the broken ones.

Lol same here! Definitely a waste! But yes, they are HUGE. She stopped then went to normal egg size for a few days but still large but now laid a huge one again today.

Haha yup!! So silly too but I love them. The funny thing is the other one has laid every day since she started. This one likes to take breaks every few days lol my dad says though that with the double yolks it's like laying 2 eggs and she needs a break

Agreed. I really like the EEs, we are getting a bantam one on May 9th and we can't wait! My bantams are laying great and I could really use a colored egg in the mix.
