Dreaming of Spring Gardening in the Middle of a Wisconsin winter part 2

Both of my dogs lose their minds when it's time to do nails. I have a friend who is a vet tech, and she does doggy manicures when she comes to visit. If not, the techs at my vet's office get the task.

My sister's visit ends today. It's a good thing we got tarps up on windy Tuesday because it rained all day Wednesday. There's mud everywhere -- and unhappy chickens because I didn't let them out to make messes of themselves yesterday. The ducks and geese frolicked in the rain and "bathed" in puddles.

One of my now-deceased sheep used to love the taste of dewormer. Rachel, my last Katahdin, does not. It took both Carolyn and me to get Rach to drink her medicine. But that's progress. The last time she got dewormed, it took three people and I face planted in the dirt!

Looks like a rain/snow mix is predicted for next week. Too soon for me!

Thats smart. I might go to a groomer or vet lol
