Driving me FREAKING nuts....What size hog rings do I need here.

Not a fan of hog rings used them in my kennel and what a pain in the ____ to close. Metal zip ties are the way to go , we have black plastic zip ties that have held for 6 summers so far

@aart I was just at the feed store and tada, right next to the register they had several hog rings. The Decker's hump in the green box would work very well to join two panels together.

Hog rings would be a pain if you ever wanted to disassemble.
I picked up a pack of stainless metal zip ties from Ace hardware out of their bargain bin.

They're easy if you buy the plyers for them...
If you get good pliers...have heard of bad ones, for hog rings and Jclips.

Hog rings would be a pain if you ever wanted to disassemble.
Ditto Dat^^^
Tho maybe rare for some, I always like to be able to unfasten easily,
to fix fffff-fouups or modify down the road.

I find the fact that hog rings are hard to disassemble to be a plus - if it's easy for you to remove, wouldn't it be easier for a predator too? I use UV resistant zip ties for certain things but you can tear them apart with your bare hands, so that's not something I want to solely rely on.

There are no SIZES associated with hog rings. All hog rings are the same size. They were originally intended to be applied through the edges of the shout or rooter of hogs to keep them from rooting out of the pig pen. As a boy I watched upholsters use hog rings or hog ringers to attach the upholstery onto the frame of car seats and furniture. They are lighting fast when applied with the tool designed for them except if you happen to be are a double amputee, blind, clutz.
