I'm growing desperate to narrow it down and help her get better... It's been about a week I treater with off label antibiotics for 3 days which stopped the runny nose symptoms but I haven't seen much improvement in her energy or her social life
Do you think it's that based on the fact that she was drooling??Jun 14, 2018 #8
Read this particular post please. Corid is a Thiamine blocker, cocci lives off thiamine- Corid basically starves the cocci. This is an oral application. I recommend the liquid form.
I can't diagnose the problem. Although a thiamine inhibitor will help if in fact it is cocci. Time has really gone by since I first posted. Illness should be dealt with post haste.Do you think it's that based on the fact that she was drooling??
I've been giving her electrolytes and I'm ordering a few different things I was told to try. I treated her with some off label antibiotics which stopped her sniffles but I've been worried about her lack of energy. Is there any harm to using corrid?I can't diagnose the problem. I am sorry to say that I can't offer anymore advice.
I hope the best for your pullet..
Is corrid at all marketed for chickens or just calves? I found the same bottle and bag on the post you sent me but they say calvesI can't diagnose the problem.
