So should I leave her in their pen while the others go out? I already know neither her or Sunny the drake will be very happy!

Does she have another female who can stay with her that may help. If you can keep them from mating for 2-3 days at least that will help you know if it’s an injury.

I’m leaning more towards an injury. Do you have a Walmart near you? My backyard looks like we got in a pillow fight from our Pekins molting.

If she were mine, I would go to the nearest store that has white pantyhose. Cut the toe out of one and slip it over her head and keep it over her body. With the wing in place. Just one partial pantyhose leg obviously is needed. Keep it on her for a couple of days and see if she starts holding it up better.

I had a cayuga drop a wing like that after a dog got ahold of her. I put a sock on her and thankfully it healed quickly. If the wing is broke I’m not sure it will help. And if it is by chance molting, the pantyhose won’t hurt her. It will just be itchy.

Just don’t let her in the water. Or if it’s not working well and others are picking on her, maybe try just at night.
