Can you give us info on how you go about sprouting, i always worry about mold.Whole corn sprouts well too, but I'm not sure of the nutritional value of it.
I enjoy sprouting.![]()
Thanks for the info, and the link I was just asking what the heck are milk nut bags. LOL I like the sprouting 4 teir thing, I just bought some sprouts at the store they were on special to see if my flock would eat them, it was so funny when i put them down they all came around and looked at them like what the heck does she expect us to do with them? well I finally went into the house thinking they won't eat them, 30 min. later went back out there wasn't a trace left. So some one got up the courage to try them.I use several ways.

The only thing that molds is sunflower seeds. I guess you can sprout them without the hulls.
Nicole thanks for the sprouting info. I have on and off over the years sprouted seeds for eating. Most corn won't sprout because its hybrid or GMO. I tried sprouting some whole oats and it must be heat treated or something because it wouldn't sprout, nor would the milo I tried to sprout although I have had some spilled whole oats grow before so not sure what to think. Does anybody know how long it takes to sprout oats. I wonder if geese would eat sprouted beans?
