Wow! I've never had that many eggs at once. And now it seems all my chickens are either molting or not old enough to lay.

I wish mine would start laying - that's amazing!

We sold eggs for $1.20/dozen - that's 10 cents an egg. We had about 5 families around our town buying them, and now they want more.

But we can't give them any because we are barely getting 2 eggs a day.

OMGosh thats what we just did yesterday. I have sold 6 dozen so far and labeled a jar "chicken feed fund" I only sell mine for $1.50. Its only been neighbors and family I have sold to. The lady across the street said "well so and so sells theirs for $1.25" and I didn't budge. Plus I deliver, because shes about 80 years old. I told her at the store large brown eggs were $2.29 the other day. Most people around here don't care about free range etc. I figure if she wants to drive 20 miles to go get some to save a quarter- go for it. She must have liked the eggs though because she ordered 3 more dozen today

Shes probably reselling them for $3.00/dozen or something

Get the goats, girl! You do need them now. LOL

Eggs and milk. Milk and eggs -

fritata
quiche
homemade eggnog (yummy!!)
egg bread - (I have a great recipe)

A culinary gold mine!
