His birds are quality. He has been breeding over 50 years. He is also an APA judge. Call him between 7-9pm. Order early or you won't get any.
That is impressive! I definetly want some of his birds! Thanks for the info!

Hello,
Has anyone ordered any Welsummers from him? What did you get, can you post some photos for me?
Thank-you,
Maye
From what I heard, they are better than hatchery Welsummers. I do not know of the quality but I do have pictures of other hatchery Welsummers which really make it look pretty bad, including Sandhill.

I saw a post that someone said Duane Urch's birds were gorgeous but did not lay well. Anyone have grown birds that can give more info? I am going to order some hatching eggs, and just want info on other's experience.

How much are hatching eggs ?? I don't see egg prices in ad.

Sorry for some reason my computer will not highlight , copy, and then post that small section... I did not notice it did not transfer.
Large Fowl January thru May eggs 10 eggs- $3.25 each 11-24 eggs- $3.00 25-48 eggs- $2.75 each 49-60 eggs- $2.50 each 61 eggs and up- $ 2.00 each
Bantam eggs are the same.
I am ordering a dozen my shipping is $15.00 of course probably a little more if it has to ship farther.

I would buy his chicks rather then his eggs. There's been a few post in these forums saying his hatch rate is kinda low on eggs. People say out of 10 eggs only 3-4 will hatch.. I can't say, never bought his eggs but that's what few people said.

Really....that is disappointing.

I didn't want to order 25 chicks. I only wanted 6 or 7 keepers in the end of hatching a dozen eggs. Now I don't know what to do. I wish the minimum order was not so high. Thank you for the info!
