I don't know for sure honestly. I've got mixed reveiws on the Welsummers of his, directly or indirectly. ALL you can do is to grow them up and take pictures of them and we can give you some honest feedbacks on the flock.
I would like the feedback, as my first chicks from Mr. Urch arrive in May, I will try and post photos and let you pick which roos to keep and which hens to place with which roo. They won't be Welsummers, but I look forward to your feedback on that breed also.

I will be doing the same thing but I' am getting chicks early April. A lot of his breeds is a mystery, you can't find pics of them anywhere. His red NN's that I'm getting is really a mystery. Nobody has/wants them unless they ordered an assortment, never seen a pic of them anywhere but I'll be the first to..

URCH/TURNLUND POULTRY, 2142 NW 47 Ave., Owatonna, MN 55060-1071. 507-451-6782.

I telephoned and then wrote a note to follow up and enclose a check, he did not do credit cards

Oh okay thanks I'm hoping to get some white NN eggs I will call him today.
If Mr. Urch does not ship eggs and you do not want 25 NN chicks maybe you could do a deal with "Vamvakas" and have him/her ship you some eggs when the NN chicks he gets this spring from Mr. Urch start laying.

Better hurry and get your stuff this year a source told me last night he is fazing out and I have no idea what he is going to have left next year. Remember he is getting up in age and this is very hard work when you are that old with all these breeds. Hurry. bob
