Dubbing

I know this is kind of old but my OEG cock is already dubbed, but has some white on his earlobes. The Judge who judged him said that I could use toenail trimmers to clip it off. Would I use the method with ice+water for him? There he is in the photo with his girl. Tell me what you think.

You could trim it off with a pair of small scissors. If he were mine and he is a good bird, I would do it. But I wouldn't breed him. The trait will be passed on.
The ice water will help with the blood, but it shouldn't bleed to bad.

Just pull slightly on both earlobes and/or wattles and snip it right off. Don`t cut too close to the head on the ear trim as there is a vien that could be cut. Easy to stop the blood, but you really don't need to cut close enough to cut the vien. You shouldn't need any blood stop powder or remedies to stop the little bit of leakage you might get.........Pop

i know this is an old thread (or i think so) but we want to dub our combs because of frostbite. For those who were wondering its for frostbite reasons or heat reasons. ive never heard of heat reasons but we want to do it for frostbte
