d'Uccle color help *New Pics added, pg 3*

When I sent their pic to Ideal, the lady told me the little yellow one evidently wasn't a Mille Fleur color and that they substituted with either a Golden Neck or Columbian because they ran out of Mille Fleur. She refunded my money for it, since it wasn't the color I ordered (I didn't ask for a refund).

His coloring looks very similar to the smaller ones, but he never had any of the gray, just all yellow. And his feathers are coming in darker now than the others (its hard to see in the pic). I wondered if he was different because he was a roo? I will be happy with whatever he turns out to be. I have a white Frizzle Bantam Cochin I want to pair him up with for a bit

Well I don't want two roos, take that back!!

Anything is possible I am finding out. And I seem to be a roo magnet, so I wouldn't be surprised. The 3 smaller ones look identical though. Combs and size wise. Time will tell!

I see only one roo and three pullets. But my main roo was a runt and developed his comb later.

They are very cute!

I only see one roo also, but only cause he is obvious. I have no experience with these tiny creatures, so I will have to wait and see what happens.

If I do have 2 or 3 pullets, I will be amazed. I didn't expect to have much luck with buying straight run, which is why I ordered 4.

Did you see the pics I added to my other post? Sorry the baby ones are so jumbo sized - need to fix that. The pic from september shows the color variety I ended up with and some of my chicks were mostly yellow.

I just went back to look. I guess maybe they can vary a lot in colors. Well I guess I got a free Mille Fleur then lol. Thanks for posting pics. Its neat to see what mine might look like. How old are yours now pbj?

Just a little over a week til the 18th! How many are you getting?

I have chickens and chicks of all different ages and eggs in the incubator and it doesn't seem to help me not want more lol
