I’m starting to wonder if mine will ever get much bigger haha. They’re just so little! I love the name Thumbelina 😍 it’s perfect!

Mine still have no names…I want good ones that suit them and I just haven’t gotten there yet! They’re so cute though 😍
Yeah take ya time otherwise you'll name em like I did then change em 3 times lol!
Personality grows as the chick does (hence Jackie Chan!)

I have one Mille Fleur that was hatched May 2021. All her regular sized chicken hatch mates started laying in October 2021, one late bloomer in Nov. Is now mid April and my Mille Fleur Belgian D’Uccle has still never laid an egg. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? She is almost 1 year old. She looks at the nest boxes, but have never seen her go inside one.

Hmmm that is a long time to wait for an egg!! I know that some bantams are rather slow to lay and anything that causes any amount of stress can cause them to not lay as well. I am not familiar with d’Uccle egg laying as I only have one and I too have never seen her lay, although she squats for me rather readily. I think as long as she’s acting normal the time will come! Any chance she is lying but you think it’s someone else’s eggs? I have a bunch of bantams and they are not good at laying in a favorite spot…so I never know who’s eggs are who’s!
