Little Peepers with the big bird kids out free ranging. I think he is coming along nicely, I don’t expect SQ from him but I have to say this breed is so darn cute.

Haha I know the feeling! It’s hard not to want to hatch all the babies!

The two little ones (girls??) last night They are lonely now because their Polish hatch mates are now outside with the broody momma silkies. I’m hoping they don’t mind being all by themselves till after Easter. I think they’d make good role models for the new eggs due to hatch for the EHAL. If I’m lucky, at least 2 self blue d’Anver chicks will hatch and they can have some sort of similar friends! I also need to name them…I’m terrible at naming chickens! I agonize over it and they go unnamed for far too long

Example… the EEs in my profile are named after female Star Wars characters, my Phoenixes after “princesses“ from old scifi books, my new EEs from characters in the Wizard of Oz, my Naked Necks the Arthurian Legends, RIR and RI Whites… English Royal house first names, and so on.
