I got these 3 for a porcelain satin breeding project...but genetics is way beyond my comprehension.
But I will NEVER regret these little D'uccles! All 3 of em were on my chest earlier while I sang somewhere over the rainbow and they went to sleep!!! They are the sweetest lil attention seekers I have ever seen!
More like a bird than a chicken though!

Very high on my list of all-time favorite movie songs. I can just picture it in my mind.

Just got home and checked my 2 hens, one baby looking great! I got pecked trying to fish it out from under them to see it.

I was able to let the banty group out and they got some nice cuddles, they’re getting so big! Time to weed out the roos or see if I can set up breeding coops. I don’t want to get rid of them But they’re buttholes lol

Yall we had a tiny cool spell...as in 80s instead of 100. Do I used it to give all the babies individual luvins. It's been so hot I've had to NOT so they don't overheat worse than they already are.

Is on his back in my lap for belly rubs and Chatty jumps up right on top of his belly! She cracks me up! Such a lil starved baby for affection and attention ALL the time!
Wish I could grab pics when they do these carazy things but my hands are always full LOLOL!
And note I've been giving d'uccles attention even in this heat cuz they sunbathe in it still!!!

I knew yall would appreciate this more than my non-chicken folks lol
So the d'uccles have made it up to the porch of the coop with the others! Only took em like 2 weeks!!!
I numbered all the spots they've tried...on top of the nest box cracked me up...let me tell ya it came with many failed attempts to sleep on the porch before they settled in on top of it for the past several nights lol!

Hehehe they’re such funny little birds aren’t they? My little d’Uccles we’re up roosting with the big birds as soon as I put them outside! They really don’t seem to know how tiny they are
