D'uccle lover club!

I have to sell one of my hens that has walking issues (she can still get around) and is getting picked on by my other birds

. Please PM me if you are interested. I am in WA.

We are picking up four Mille Fleur D'Uccles tomorrow. Got a text that she has 50 to choose from. Thinking about breeding, but mainly want really want really friendly birds.

Question: How do two boys get along?

Oh my gosh d'Uccle boys are so sweet!!! Even together; I have 2 boys together in a pen with 3 girls. They have all been in their since a couple days ago (I am showing them as a pen at the county fair) and they get along perfectly!!

Thought I would share my pics of my boys. They are from the same hatch. French Fry has gray tale feathers and gray feet. Egg McMuffin has black iridescent green tale feathers and green feet. I don't have any girls from the February 2013 hatch. They all were roos.

My little Peepers is almost 16 weeks. I'd love to learn more about them. She was an impulse buy. My kids fell in love with her when she was a week old. They thought that she looked like a little penguin. May I join?

I'd like to post on here too...I'll PM.

We got this little guy at the Puyallup Mother Earth show in June. He was one of our favorites...but we didn't know it was a boy until that comb popped up. Having said that, I never knew I'd fall so in love with a rooster!!! He is just the sweetest little guy...everything he does is cute:) We can have roosters where we live but our landlord has asked us not to...I am truly sick over the thought of not having him. I'm praying he's on the quieter side and then I'll ask my neighbors if they mind.

Here he is--almost 8 weeks

Ok. I have a question. My little girl "Peeper" has rough legs. They aren't smooth like my other larger chickens. Is that normal of should I be worried that there is something wrong. Her foot feathers are also broken. They don't seem to bother her, but I worry. She is the only Bantam that I have right now and she is at the bottom of the pecking order. It doesn't help that she is super shy cause my kid used to chase her around. I finally got them to understand not to chase her, but she isn't as friendly as she was as a chick. She'll still follow me around, but If I reach to pet her she runs. (my other girls push their way in so they can get some Mommy time.)
