Are these all from a hatchery? The porcelain is a booted bantam. The complete lack of a beard disqualifies it as a d'uccle. Booted bantam is the proper name.![]()

These are my two mille hens, one has a nice beard and the other is slightly lacking but she does have a beard. They are the only two hens out of all my chickens that are laying. They both have nice boots and nice flowers, good color. Least that what i think, i am not expert and only just got them and the Roo about 3 months ago. Don't mind the seabright in there upstaging the mille's lol
Do you have any pictures of your chickens and are they laying right now?I breed mille fleur chickens and I would sell hatching eggs.
No i dont think they came from a hatchery i got them second hand from someone else and she didnt ask the original owner. I need a male for the mille hens, i am waiting to get some hatching eggs as soon as anyone has some. i was going to start a line with the porcelain roo for porcelains but the lack of beard has me reconsidering it.
Ugh i am never going to be able to get eggs lol!!! i am trying to get them as early as possible so i can have the pullets laying before winter. My milles are laying right now but the only roo i have is the beardless porcelain. i saw an ad on ebay for mille fleur but the parents didnt look very good...muddled flowers and very poor beards and foot feathers.
