His back is kind of long and lots of white in his beard. Those I are the negatives. A good pic of him showing off would be best to judge him. I think he needs a little more time to fill in honestly. He looks decent though. Barely any wattles, big beard, good foot feathering. If your new to showing D'uccles they will get more white with every molt. Every bird will have a prime which they will have a good balance of mottling or spangling. Next year he may be awesome color wise. With the blacks, keep an eye on the red leakage in their hackle(neck) feathers. Form is priority when showing then work on color. Like many have said you need to build the house before you paint it.
