Looks simular to our Shepard Hound cross. He just loves it.
We currently carry 10 X 1 Gal waterers to the 9 different coops that we have. It is getting a little more each day.
Cant wait for spring and more eggs.

We have had some mille's that the pattern did not appear till the 5 month stage. I almost got rid of one at 3 months because of it but he has grown out to be a good looking boy in my opinion.

I feel ya Doug, really I do. The temps is what gets me, not the snow fall amount. Your a braver chicken keeper than I am FOR SURE. -20 nope, no way, no how, would never survive! LOL, your a brave man!

It is black in color, but still in the bator where I haven't been able to get my hands on it to look it over good. So very cute though and such a nice surprise to come home to!

Lori, if you do decide to sell the GN's and the butterscotch, please, pretty please let me know. I am very interested and our partner in this whole chickens business is interested in them, too. He keeps trying to steal Midas from me!

As promised, here is the Silver MF chick that I'm 99.9% sure is a little girl. I posted her on the show list too...couldnt help it (blushing)

<----Sigh, yes I'm addicted and need chicken restraint medications. What can I say (heehee)

I saw her as a day old several pages back and didnt get a chance to post. But yes, I though then it looked like a silver millie. I've got those working in the d'anvers right now, should hatch some correct ones this year, but she looked very silver millish even as a day old.
Very nice. Be prowd of that! Not many have those in ANY breed

Yay!! Congrats!!
Can't wait to see what you end up with.

"Eggs are like a box of chocolates; You never know what you're gonna get." (My apologies to Forrest Gump)

AC, I've been thinking about this for a while and I really think I have to sell them.
And I need to do it sooner rather than later, for the space. Next week with potential single digits is really going to strain my coop. I am not happy about this, and would love for them to go to someone that will value them.
Only problem I can see is; How would you get them?

GC, you're chicken addicted? Really? I never would've guessed....
