Wow... I figured someone would reply. Maybe it's just that it was the weekend...

Here's what I think, given that I'm relatively new to poultry but I've done a TON of research and I have a background in noticing details

.

I'd say they're all adorable and definitely pet quality. Many of them are technically booted bantams since they have wattles and no beards (like the cockerel in the first pic, though he has a d'uccle topline/body shape). The first cockerel also doesn't have very consistent coloring - ideally, nearly every feather will have the red/black/white pattern. They're still young, so that may get slightly better after another molt (though that may only happen with the white, I think they're stuck with whatever amount of black they start with). He also seems pretty big for a 7 wk old d'uccle. The pullet in the bottom pic has decent foot feathering and her color is ok, but her head shape is off - it should be shorter overall, with a shorter beak.

The cockerel in the bottom right of the middle picture looks somewhat promising - he has a nice thick "bull neck" shape to his front end, and a decent topline and foot feathers, from what I can see, as well as ok beak/head shape, though he has an extra point or two in his comb (but it's a nice size). I would still want to see more fullness to his beard, and a bit more mille coloring which might show up after his next molt.

Overall, I think they'll make fabulous pets for someone (or a few someones), and I think you could certainly charge $15-20 for a pair or $25-30 for a trio, depending on your market. I wouldn't sell most of them as d'uccles, though... I would market them as d'uccle or booted bantam crosses.

I have a pair that i would like to post pics of but i am new and cant figure out how to put pics of them on here. Can anyone help me??????

The best way to help you post pics is for you to go to the INDEX. Then go to Frequently Asked Questions. There is a thread on How to Post Pictures. Super easy. Good luck.

Oh, I'm really sorry D, I got side tracked. I'm trying to get ready for a yard sale this week end, my Mom is in the rehab/nursing home and I'm trying to get my home ready for her so she can come home and I just moved in here not that long ago, PLUS I'm OLD and it takes me forever to get things done anymore, so sorry again.
Anyway.......................
I think I like your kids, but I'm terrible at judging young birds. It's so difficult to really know how they're going to mature, things change SO much.
If you get a chance I'd like to see a better picture of your little pullet.

Thanks so much guys...I really apprecite it..if anyone else wants to chime in,by all means go for it. This is interesting and I really need to know how good or bad they are. I will get some pictures posted..and I was wrong about the age of the cockeral in my arms...he was born May 27th, making him 12 weeks...sorry.

I hope your mom is ok, and is able to come home soon....don't say you are old, just say you are older than you were and in that category...we all will fall in it.
