D'uccle Thread

I can have roosters as we live in the country... just was hoping for more hens! I have one porcelein rooster already...although he cant seem to figure out his job. He is about 5 months old... grabs on the girls back but forgets to hop on.. lol- it is comical.
The bird is a neat color was hoping for a hen, that is all..

If you post some pics of him, we can all chime in on what he/she might be. Plus, I want to see his neat color!

Just bought a pair of Porcelin D'uccles today, who both won overall grandchampion in our local fair, and I absolutely love them! The little rooster gets along fine with my Phoenix roo. I can't wait til this spring when I can get my incubator and hatch D'uccles and Phoenixes. I will try to get some pictures.

Welcome Phoenix Farms! You know, with the d'Uccles, you might not need an incubator, as they often hatch their own!

Don't know about the Phoenix, though. I also own both breeds, but my Phoenix hens are still babies.
