Thanks!depends on what they white is covering up. Recessive white is just a mask covering the true color underneath. In d'anvers that I have it's usually just over black, so it's breeds just like you are breeding to a black bird. I bet it's the same in d'uccles.
if so you will get blacks split for mottled, rec. white , and will carry buff columbian. when you back cross those chicks you will get black mottled, and more millies, and a possible buff columbian or two if they dont get the mottled gene.
Being yall have dominate white in d'uccles from the presence of goldnecks, there is an outside chance you may have a solid dominate white bird, very slim chance, but it's there. If so you'll be working on just goldnecks in the long run, well those and white tailed buff columbians. but all that would be in the second generation due to the fact that mottling is recessive.
Hope that may have helped a bit. You'll know right off if you get any white chicks. If you do, it's dominate white, if they are all black, it's recessive white...
