D'uccle Thread

I think I am getting duccle chicks in June. When I go to the breeder what should I look for and not look for and how do I know what to buy. I am wanting a porcelain and a mille fleur

I have 4 cream mottled d'uccles. I am trying to understand the genetics for this color. I have the mottled aspect figured out. However, the breeder's information on the cream is that it is a dominant dilute gene on buff. When looking at the Henk color calculator, I am not able to determine what that gene would be. As far as I can tell, the only dominant dilute gene is the gene already in play, turning red into buff. Does anyone know what this dominant dilute gene that turns buff into cream would be? Thank you.

@Hannah15 could it be the Cream gene? It is recessive, and it's symbol (ig) stands for gold inhibitor.

I don't think so. He specifically stated that it was a dominant dilute gene. I don't believe he made a mistake either because he stated at the same time that one of the other colors is based on the recessive gene (presumably the gold inhibitor).
