D'uccle Thread

Anyone know where I can get d'uccle hatching to order? I would prefer someone reliable.

Do you care about quality? Many hatcheries have d'uccles. And are you eggs or chicks? The way you worded it could go either way

What are some tell tale signs that chicks are good quality? I'm trying to find out with my chicks ( got them from a different source) The DO have feathering down their outside, and middle toe. But other than that, I don't know how to tell :/

There's really no way to tell when they are chicks. Even when they are fully feathered it is difficult. Better wait until after their first molt, and then decide.

I'm crying. The 2/24 d'uccle chicks that hatched from Ron Tallent died. They were almost two weeks old in with one week old Ameraucana chicks. Why would they die?
