This is a great website for looking and deciding the different color variations and combinations for genetics. But, be warned, it gets addicting :p
If you can figure out what they're saying.....

Ok so I have a question, I have a trio of Mille fleur chicks that are 2 months. Those three have a wide variety of colors in them selves. I'm wondering what you think is the best color, according to the Standard.

Cockerel feather pattern.

I also have a question about my Porcelain pen, but I don't have the photos up-loaded yet.

My personal opinion:

1# he has too much white.

2# Okay, but I would like to see a bit more black.

3# I like this one the most out of all 3 of them, she's more evenly colored.

Although, they will look different as they grow. Once they have gotten their adult feathers, we might be able to evaluate them more thoroughly with out the question mark.

:)

Here are my "Mystery Chicks". They were the ones I had spoke of about 10 pages or so ago that were hatched from D'uccles with the only difference being an antibiotic treatment prior to egg collection. I think they are kind of dorky cute! Sorry they aren't the best photos, I was using my cell phone.

In my most recent hatch of four that are about 3 weeks old, I have one that is black, one that is lavender and 2 millies. Crazy rainbow assortment at my house!
