What does it mean when a thread is locked, and why did it do that? (Another thread I was following).

All lav or porcelain (lav pattern) will throw black patterned chicks from the first hatch, since you need 2 copies of it to make it show; you have to breed one of those chicks back to another lav/ porcelain when they grow up to get some lav/ lav pattern babies.

locked means you can't write on it anymore, must have been some unpleasant-ness. Sorry! They do this to keep the site family friendly.

(and this is all the discussion i'm going to do on the subject, since it is taboo to talk about it too) I was mystified the first time a thread i was following was locked too.

I have seen a thread get temporarily locked and get unlocked a little while later so don't give up on it yet.

This is Sugar our sweet little rooster. Almost 9 months old and no crowing so far, fingers crossed. I would love some feedback on him, I am thinking he has a bit to much white on his head and his foot feathering could be better. What do you think?
