I got a D'Uccle Bantam chick from Atwoods, but a day after I got him, my sister found him dead in the brooder. Not mangled or anything, just dead. And he was really sweet!

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that! I had 8 milled but one of them died shortly after I bought them. It was pullet too.

Well, I am utterly in love with this chick. Hoping she's a girl so she can hang around...although I guess a bantam rooster doesn't really count as a rooster XD

She has to be my favorite out of this batch of chicks, but don't tell the others. I've named her Gingerbread.
