D'uccle Thread

would you be willing to sell eggs later this year when it cools off a bit?
I would. Just have to wait a while because everyone is broody and stopped laying. I think I've broken them of it, but no one is laying yet. Once they start, I will set some for myself and for the show in December. And then I will be able to ship.

These are my girls. Just got them yesterday. I think they are about 8-10 weeks old. I know the smaller one is a Mille Fleur d'uccle and I was told the other was also a d'uccle but when I got them home, I realized the red/white gal is about twice the size of the little mille. I'm pretty sure these are the same chickens I saw when they were about 3 weeks old (and all seemed to be the same size back then) but I'm wondering if I've got two different breeds, two different ages or if the mille is just runty. She sits a lot, like, a lot. Seems healthy though, eating and scratching and drinking. Can anyone comment on them for me?

The one on the left is not a pure d'uccle.

Posting a pic of my little blue mille fleur boy I hatched from some of the eggs I won in the NYD hatchalong! I also have two black mottled boys, but just not got pics yet. This is Myles... he is just under 2 months old (was about 6 weeks old in this photo)

Those are some awfully nekkid feet there. I thought cochins had fluffier feet. Hmmmm....
