Maybe she would like him more than Yosemite Sam!

Little Mama tends to be her own girl, though.

Very excited! I finally found some little pullets for my rooster

Here they are. and my rooster is sooo in love with them he is doting on them showing them the food dish and water and where to dust bathe, and chattering a lot

My pullet was laying down today, i went and picked her up she acted like she was having a seziure. i seperated her and it only lasted a couple seconds and she has been normal ever since. Hopefully she is ok and it was just something random

I was told that Little Mama is a Booted Bantam, rather than a d'Uccle. It would make sense since she lacks a beard or muff!

That's the difference. the 2 breeds are identical in every way except that d'Uccles have beards & Booted Bantams don't.

I wouldn't keep birds in an open lean to. Sounds risky, depending on location. A lot of states will be below zero this winter that normally wouldn't. I use a piece of plexi glass in my most open and board the rest of my converted rabbit hutch coop. Gives a winter sunning spot out of the wind. They might survive anyway but why stress them and take thr risk?

I have had chocolates on my wish list for some time! I keep a line of blue red ee's for that day. Also i like the impure chocolate which has red leakage. Reddish brown.
