The hens seem to be fine and i never saw the LF Roos picking on my Porcelain Roo but i guess they must have been. He never had any pulled feathers though...like a month ago he had a bloody toe but i though that was from getting his toe nail caught on something not the LF Roos. Just sad he is gone.Misfitmorgan - so sorry ! My hens never had issues with LF - but my little roos always stayed out of the way - never challenging ....
I'll have millie flur eggs - but not for a while - I just put my breeder roo in with the hens and separated them to a breeder pen .... I'm in Vermont - so it is still too early in the season for hatching eggs right now.
