I have a lavender boy that I'm having trouble re-homing. I'm trying to trade him for a hen of any kind because I have four boys and two girls in my overall flock. My duccel flock consists of three boys and one girl. Also trying to trade my larger boy too. This is my boy I'm trying to trade. He is 8 months old.

Mottled

Wow, those are some nice looking D'uccles, I like #2 the best. The lighter Mille has awesome form and some nice spangling although a little white around the face.

The mottled is a great looking bird overall except for the giant wattles. That's unfortunate for such an awesome shaped and mottled bird.

She is a blue mille, her mom is a regular mille and her dad is a blue mottled with gold leakage, love her!!

How did you breed all these colors? (in particular Hikee?)

After a few years of breeding black and blue mottles as well as regular milles, my gene pool is pretty colorful. Hikee has a regular mille mom and dad that is a blue mottled with gold leakage.

I made my blue Millie's the same way. I crossed a splash to a Millie and got a blue bird with the Columbian leakage. Crossed back to a Millie for the shared Columbian background and the mottling gene.
