He must be in heaven, mine always act like they are big chickens and will often chase roosters that are much bigger than they are. They are a spunky breed.

My boy is 23 weeks now and he is still very sweet. He comes over and talks to me and I can easily pick him up. One of his brothers that I butchered a few weeks ago was aggressive to the girls and did not like me at all. I think it depends on the roo. That being said, D'uccles are still new to me but I can say that for the most part they are a little calmer in general than some of the others I have raised. My 6 week old cockerel has started perching on my shoulder and preening my hair! I've met some sweet roosters, but this is a new level! What are the roosters like when they're full grown? Do they stay this adorable?
It's a beautiful boy!Hi All,
This is my little "Boo"...approximately 4 weeks old. Literally in the last two days her comb changed to deep red and hot larger...now I'm thinking she is a he. Any Thought??
