Hey shay
What's up with the hen to the left of the roos? Is she as light as she appears?
Nancy

which one the milli?

Yep... I was noticing that too - she's *almost* light enough to be heading towards lemon range! Super cute.

chip - I'm thinking you're going to have to talk to Doug about the lemons. I think there still aren't any in the US, so unless you can get him to smuggle some across the border ( JUST KIDDING!!!!! Really!!! It was a JOKE! ) I don't think we'll be seeing any lemons for a while. In Europe I believe they're called Citrine, and I agree with you a flock of them would be wonderful, they're gorgeous. I don't know if it's because they are so different from what we are accustomed to or it's the color contrast, but there is something terribly appealing about them.

Yup - that's the one. Have you had chicks from her? If so are they lighter than normal, or is she just lighter. There is a color genetics thread for d'Uccle on here and it could be very interesting to jump on there with her and see if you could get some suggestions about breeding her. The Citrine color in the US, to my knowledge still has not been seen yet. I think it would be great for someone to decide to breed for the color. I have no idea if she would be appropriate or not, but it might be worth checking out. There are a few genetics gurus on there that could help possibly.

She's a very interesting little girl, not a Citrine, but VERY interesting none the less. If she were mine, I'd take pics and ask Dave Hancox if she would be of use in a color project breeding program for the lemons/citrines; but that's me.
