I am new to posting but thought I would try to post my newest editions . I went to the Shawnee Chicken show , my first , and fell in love with these chickens . I didn't even know what they were but bought four hens . He said they were DE Uncles or something like that but I was too excited to pay much attention . After I returned home , I got on the chicken board to research them , thank you all for that ! They were laying like crazy so thought I would put some of them in the incubator and to my surprise two hatched . They are four weeks old now , think one is a rooster ?
We have had extreme weather here in central Oklahoma this year . I have them in a cardboard box in my den . They are the smartest little things , did't even get off that rooster pad .
