And I agree with everyone else, they are so darned cute it makes you want to squeeze them and snuggle them right up to you! Ok, experiment time, I put our new chicks in with our new day old turkey & broilers with the thought that maybe the Mareks will not come out in this little group.

Roo Boy! He's my pride and joy. He lost most of his toes to frostbite...I don't understand why. No one else got the slightest tinge... poor guy. He has started growing claws from where his toes once were though...he keeps getting closer and closer to being a house chicken. Not because of his feet, he gets along fine, but because of his amazing 10 star personality. I love him! <3

Mille She's only 3 months old, she's a sweetie. She doesn't really like anyone else in the flock but the OEG whose name is Emilie. That's okay though...she doesn't have to like everyone. I just hope she's happy. The way she skirts around the yard would suggest she is...always chasing bugs this one.

Awwww. He is so cute. I don't think he would want to be in the house away from all his birdie friends. It is great he is such a cool bird though. Interesting about his toes. And he developed claws after losing toes? Interesting out come.

Two of my fun girls. Meal worms will make them follow you to the ends of the earth! LOL

And tell me, why do the lighter birds have to be such a mess? She lives with the girl above but is always a T total mess!

Its funny how the D's don't get along with other birds and most of my big girls don't care for the D'3 (roo & 2 hens) and Scooter our Bantam Cochin just plain old hates the D's and the cream colored Brabanters that we have. Other then that, Scooter is such a lover! Its funny.

Its also amazing how resilient out birds are, they seem like such fragile critters but they aren't!
