to me its really were you are from and what people call them in your area i guess lol i could ask for any of those and most here will not even know what they are

I have always pronounced them as doo-clays as I took 5 years of French in high school (I am Canadian eh) and it was very easy for me to remember how to say it... but as all of you have indicated its a crap shoot as to how to pronounce the name of such a cute little bird but as long as you and the people sharing the conversation know what you mean, it really doesn't matter what they're called.
