My little 6 month old guy doesn't crow much either. I think he is intimidated by the other, bigger guys and is trying to lay low.

My little porcelain trio is in with the big EE's, they are doing good but he has yet to crow. Not the other little millie's roos i got from the hatchery, they have their own little shack and boy do they set up a squeaky ruckus! Not afraid to try to take on my big roo, either. I have to range them separate of it's 3 little roos all at once on my big guy, and he's a friendly one. But the better quality porcelains i got are sweet and shy.

I'm going to do the same Blue Mille x Blue mottled cross, what do you think this pairing will produce?

I'm pretty sure they will throw more Blue Mille's and Blue Mottled. May even get Golden Necks, if I'm not mistaken

You'll get mixed color d'uccles. Blue, black, and splash with varying amounts of buff/red leakage mottled birds. There was a d'uccle a few pages ago(614 I think) that looks like the blue version of what the chicks will look like.

I can usually tell by 2 weeks, there boys combs start to grow.

My hatchery one started doing boy things at only 3 weeks! Even tried to squeak out a crow

If the comb isn't red by 3-4 weeks, it's probably a girl
