Lotsa snow, but a decent temperature. Everyone bathed, and I heard my first “chirp chirp!” of the year from my white Muscovy. It’s only early February, but the increase in daylight is being noticed.

Thank you for asking. He's hanging in there. He took a beating for sure, but I'm hopeful he got lucky and will make a full recovery. Thanks again for asking about himHow’s Zeon?

Lol love it! My dog started barking and ran to the back door when he heard your ducks. I guess he thought it was my gang.Listen to Aztec & Call Duck Quacking Contest by HeatherKB on #SoundCloud

I was listening to a podcast while doing my nightly bird chores and Faith was fussing at me. I decided to figure out if I could catch her quacking through my earbud and record her adorable beeps. Faith oftentimes will do this beep like quacking that sounds like it's coming from the teeniest of tiniest duck but I have never been able to record it. Blue Belle, one of the Aztec's decided to join in. Let's just say that the Call genetics run deep with that AztecFaith had to stop and wet her quacker in the middle. I love to hear them

I flip-flop from not liking solid white birds, to loving them. I have a trio of white calls, and a flock of white bantam Phoenix chickens. That white Muscovy is GORGEOUS! Love the other one too, but that white is something else.![]()
I flip flop also on color, as long as it is on acceptable poultry.I flip-flop from not liking solid white birds, to loving them. I have a trio of white calls, and a flock of white bantam Phoenix chickens. That white Muscovy is GORGEOUS! Love the other one too, but that white is something else.![]()
There are people out there (not me) that insist that Muscovies aren’t ducks. Does that make them more acceptable?I flip flop also on color, as long as it is on acceptable poultry.
