They are so adorable! The tiny one standing up? I was just saying something about how Miley (the Call hatchmate to Maggie) has mastered the resting b¡+ch face, it seems like your duck has too I would love to know what they're thinking while we're, "Awe! They are so adorable mean muggin. Look at those sweethearts!". I think my ducks would have a very colorful vocabulary if they spoke English But they're still so gorgeous!!!

Yup, the tiny one standing up. She is now the biggest of those three. I am certain she would have a very colorful vocabulary . She is one of our least social ducks, so I am sure there are a lot of explicatives that would come out of her.

Oh my gosh! One of my precious roosters was either saving my Call Ducks or my little bantam hens (they're side by side) or maybe both. A hawk was prowling around their coops and got him instead. The Calls were all huddled up in one corner of their house terrified. They just now came out. My bantam hens still haven't left the one nesting box they're huddled in. I'm out here collecting Zeon's feathers. Poor guy! He's still alive but he took a beating for sure. I was ready to take a trip to jail tonight and I guess I would have if that a$$hole hadn't landed on top of the house and I'm not that confident with my new shotgun because it kicks so bad. I know they have to eat too, but this was a stupid young hawk. To be honest, all of my ducks and chickens need to be up because of this HPAI that's been confirmed in some coastal counties on the NC coast. I guess this marks their last day being out for a while. I just so happened to have my other 3 Call hens inside for the moment. My poor Zeon lost all of his manhood (his tail feathers)

Edited to add : The Aztec's are just like "What's all the fuss about?". They've been standing around just looking the entire time. Their house is on the other side of the Calls

The reason I considered that Zeon was protecting the ducks is because he ALWAYS hangs out with them. They actually interact a lot. I hope it's a good sign that he keeps crowing at me every time I go in the shop (where he's nursing his wounds). Earlier today I had an apple that I cut up. I would give Zeon a piece and then offer Faith a tiny piece. He was so disappointed that Faith kept wanting her piece of apple. She would put her head down at him, like "don't even think about bud".
