Duck and URI

I think my duck has a respiratory infection! He sneezes and you can hear a change in his voice.
I don’t have a vet yet, because in my area—there are none that treat ducks. I have to look for a livestock vet according to the receptionist at the local vet’s office.
Soooo, I was told to get Amoxicillin, and give the duck 20mg for three days.
What would you do??? I really need to treat him.

How is your duck doing?
If he is still acting poorly, could you get a video of him sneezing, and attempting to talk?
I do not know the age/weight of your Duck, but the amoxicillin dosage you were given is likely too low( unless a duckling), and definitely not long enough to be of any sort of help in treating his problem.
There are many issues besides respiratory infections, that can cause respiratory issues; it's a matter of narrowing it down.
If you could provide more information pertaining to any more physical findings, past issues, what his pen area is like, being fed, etc. That would be helpful.
