Duck bill injury

Pea soup is good to keep her interest in eating for the short term....but she’s going to need a more complete source of nutrition.... either a blended, soupy concoction made from crumbles/pellets/feed ration/similar product, or if she won’t accept that, then you will need to find a multivitamin and mineral supplement that you can add to the pea soup to make sure she gets all the nutrients (niacin is especially critical for ducks) to go with the calories she’s getting from the soup.

It’s obviously going to be a learn-as-you-go process.... like others have said, though, all these birds we love so much have a remarkable ability to adapt. Perhaps once the acute injury has healed and the bill isn’t tender anymore, you can come up with a way to create a prosthetic that can be attached with epoxy, or some other adhesive. If you get to that point and want to figure something out, I’d suggest starting a new topic and we can help you brainstorm some things to try.

Keep up the great work in nursing your ducky back to health.
