Is anyone else just the tiniest bit tickled when their Runners trip on things and faceplant while running? Or am I a terrible person?

I think it's hilarious when one of our runners drakes does that. But it's when he's mad and falls out of the pool.

So, I could be wrong, but I had the vague impression that runner eggs are colored based on the color of the hen that lays them? Does anyone have any input on the correlations there? I'm trying to narrow down which of my girls has started giving me eggs ♡
Yes
Blue- greenish blue eggs
Chocolate- greenish blue
Fawn & white- white
Black- greenish blue

Weeeiiirrrd... my fawn and whites were both hatched in October, so they shouldn'tbe laying yet, should they? At least not before the ones born in July, but those are chocolate (on possible mallard-color) and blue... but all the eggs have been white![]()
I have had many ducks start laying as soon as four months, which I thought was super early at first. If your fawn and whites were born early October, they are approaching four months, so there's a small chance it could be them. If it was late October, I would say probably not.
October 12th... so maaaybe? Still so bizarre that one of them would start before any of the older ones
Maybe she's just an over-achiever!![]()
If they are perfectly formed, standard sized eggs then it would be safe to assume that it is not your 4 month olds. I would expect to see atleast a week of smaller, odd shaped eggs before standard eggs are laid.
