Do you know how long you can use a drake in a small gaggle before interbreeding is an issue? I have about six hens and two drakes.one is runner,quit a twit , the rest are mascovies.

So let me get this straight, you have six, five of which are Muscovies and one is a runner? Is that right?

If they're all from the same hatch (say the Muscovies) then I wouldn't go farther than 1 generation without getting new blood.
