I went to TSC yesterday to get flock feed. I have one Pekin duck that will walk between my legs but doesn't want be held at all. There was a boy there that had his duck with him sleeping in his arms. He was beautifulI was really impressed by that relationship they had. Be careful. You may end up with 14 ducklings sleeping in your arms...

Hiii,
Thank you so much for your message

I think that is just so lovely your duck wonders through your legs, like they know you're family. Still doesn't want to be held though hehe
Omg that little boy with the duck in his arms, bless their souls. How utterly cute! I feel such a bond to my little eggs, never felt this way before.
Guess what tonight I had a little look and there's so many veins and tiny movements. I felt a sudden flood of emotion like gosh these little eggs are babies and pushing on so hard, keeping alive

Oh and sorry there were 14, then one was killed by a cat but then not sure what happened in the process because I've 11 now. These little ones in the incubator fast asleep tonight all cosy and warm inside.
Take care
