Duck entertainment...

Besides swimming... what do you do to keep your ducks entertained??
Do they play toys? What kind of toys do they like?

Mine are getting lazy.. I’m guessing it’s because winter is here!

I've heard they like it if you hang cabbage from the top of their run....

Ducks....Things mine play with are beach balls when young..Old CDs hung up by string only high enough for head so they don't strangle themselves...Bells...Mudflaps on trucks...Mud...Water...Sprinkler...

Throw some fish into a bucket or kiddie pool and watch them go crazies going "fishing" you can also through in floating duck pellets and treats and watch them go crazing trying to get them all eating before another in the flock grabs them.

Also Ducklings like toilet paper rolls....They carry them around or chase them...

I was going to do this during the summer but I never got around to it. This summer i plan on it!

great I just go up to Petsmart and grab a couple dozen of their feeder fish and the game is on. Though my chickens and turkeys love fishing too so I gotta set up two different pools in different pens to ensure everyone gets some.
