Duck hatch-a-long october/november!!!!!! come join!

Yup!! Oh and I had my bi-weekly auction today. Found out one of my "auction" friends has a cousin with a load of call ducks. He promised to get me eggs. SO EXCITED!
That is awesome! Call ducks are such adorable little critters.

And grats on the new pip. Do both of them seem to be going good still?

Yes the one that has externally pipped is moving a lot. The one that hasn't looks like it has internally pipped. If it hasn't externally pipped by tomorrow morning ill make a safe hole just in case.

Just got done with the day 14 candling of my duck eggs, and all 3 are alive and VERY active!

It was so exciting and cool to see them moving around in there.

How can you tell if it has internally pipped without candling? This will be my first hatch ever, mine go into lockdown on Tuesday. Other than listening for noise, watching for movement, and the final obviously external pip, what else should I be looking for?
