I went to go look too... And ADORABLE!

One egg had rolled to the edge, so we could see it, and watch it hatch! SO CUTE! Even all wet, it looked like it already has the muscovy crest!! I am absolutely tickled!

It looks like we have three so far.......I think we have 14 under her, all fertile and happily growing when we checked last week.....

The mom is a chocolate, the drake is a very light something..silver maybe, we have two other ducks that might have contributed to the eggs, a blue and a lavender. All of them are pied.

Anyway, the ducklings being wet and mostly hidden under her, I couldn't tell what colors they will be...but they look pied.

Aw! Congrats on the new babies. With 14 eggs you will have quite a few ducklings on your hands here shortly. They are adorable.

So I candled the white eggs from the batch of 98 mixed eggs I got. It is a little early but I couldn't wait (of course if I don't see anything in any I won't toss them yet). Almost all of them looked fertile. I'm sure some of them that I couldn't see anything into are also fertile, just too early to see. Can't wait until next Tuesday to look at the rest of them.

Congrats on ur eggs I'm hoping to get a dosen duck eggs soon from celtic oak on here! I will t ry on morw time and then I will wait till spring!
