Duck hatch-a-long october/november!!!!!! come join!

My brother in law has offered to show us how to since we've never done it before.
Oh, that will be helpful to have someone knowledgeable to show you. I had to look it up online. Fortunately there are a lot of good step by step how tos for processing.

Yes I'm glad for the help! Otherwise I wouldn't even know where to start. Probably would ask my neighbor. He's a hunter and does all his own processing. He gave us a wild boar ham as well as several different fish fillets. Thought if worse came to worse I could barter with him to process them for me!

That's a thought. Could be a win-win.

Just an update babies are doing great getting so so big already!! They don't both fit in my hand anymore one in each hand the one is still smaller then the other but they r doing great!!

I think ducks would be a lot harder to do as well. I'll start with quail and move up from there. I would love to try duck though. Do different breeds have different tastes? Does taste differ from wild to domestic? I'm curious to know more now.

Oh my! They are very big now! I will post pictures of mine tomorrow! I just got back into town and I feel like they doubled in size while I was gone! I was so sad coming home to only 3. I'm glad my neighbor was nice enough to bury her while I was away.

I don't know from experience but I have heard that yes, each breed as well as wild to domestic tastes different.
