Duck Hatch-A-Long ~ Wanna Join?

Ive got a pair of butterscotches, but shes laying sporadically, so right now, only one of those.

Ive got a trio of magpie girls and a blue bibbed male. This is Rosie..
This is Cow.. Daddy Eugene.. (hes in lots better shape now.. this is during a molt)
I also have another magpie, similar to Cow, but a bit smaller.. Not sure who her eggs are fertilized by.. I didnt buy him..
And I have a pair that the hen is mallard colored, and the boy is a realy nice white.
My pics are coming thru on preview, but not in the actual post.. I think if you look at my profile, you should be able to see some pics of some of my birds..

That butter drake sure has a lot of nice rust on his breast!

I just ordered 6 Rouen eggs this morning. I can't wait. I am also hoping to get ahold of some Guinea eggs today so they arrive at the same time. I read alot of blogs and article that both can be hatched togehter since they both are 28 days and can be kept at the same temps and humidity. I'm crossing my fingers. This will be my first ever hatch. I just bought my incubator last night.

Went to the mailbox, and nada. They should be here tomarrow, hopefully! We live so far out in the country that our mail is usually one day later than it was supposed to be. Waiting...waiting...waiting!

Welcome, and good hatch vibes coming at you. I still remember my first time using a bator...was hard to not just sit and stare at the eggs the whole time.

I live way out too, and the town where my mail comes from doesn't even have a stoplight...just one of those blinking lights. I always have the person shipping me eggs or birds, write my phone number on the box to call me as soon as they hit the post office and I go fetch them. The girls there have learned, though, that I get..."OMG! EGGS???" via mail sometimes.

I live about 2 hours from any big town. The closest small town is about 45 minutes away. We sometimes will not go to town for about a month. I love being out in the middle of nowhere!
