Oh yeah, the mirror! I put a plush in there already even though the baby has been asleep for the most part. I figured it would help hold the heat too since there are no other bodies to cuddle.

Brinsea heat plate to go under and another heat plate outside the back of the tub to increase the warmth since my house is kind of cool inside

I’m fairly certain another hatch is underway. I hear pecking sounds in the incubator. Wish me luck because baby Rain is awfully clingy right now being on her own, I really need a sibling for her.

She would have imprinted on you, and thinks you're her mama! She'll adjust to being left alone, but it'll be easier to leave her be once she has a sibling. I had one of my ducks hatch first and she was a single baby for 4 days until her sister hatched.
I absolutely love the name, by the way! Rain. Such a pretty name.
